Fulbright Philippine Agriculture Alumni Association National Conference 2015 at Silliman University

The National Conference of the Fulbright Philippine Agriculture Alumni Association (FPAAA) was held at Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines last June 21-23, 2015. The conference was focused on the theme Resource Management and Supplemental Livelihood through Sustainable Agriculture and Fisheries Technology. The conference was graced with the presence of the Governor Hon. Roel Degamo and the presentation of National Scientist Angel Alcala. During the conference, I was able to present my ideas on the potential of algal biofuels in the Philippines as part of the USAID STRIDE project. With a good presence from fellow Agri-fulbrighters and farmers from different regions int he country, the event was a success. Acknowledgement goes to Dr. Aileen Maypa and to all the FPAAA officers, and speakers who made the conference possible.
